Vegetarian Society approved feeds were sourced initially from a traditional innovative, family-owned company, Allen and Page, with four generations of experience, who use only natural ingredients of the highest quality, their mill being entirely drug free, and their herbs are actually real herbs, not flavourings. They contain no fish-meal, animal derived di-calcium, tricalcium phosphate or hydrolysed protein As Allen & Page Feeds do not contain any fish-meal it makes life easier! You won’t have to register with Defra as long as you feed your ruminants and non ruminants only Allen & Page Feed ranges.

• All the feeds are approved by the Vegetarian Society and are free from animal products.
• Only premium vegetable oils including Omega 3 Oils are used.
• They steer clear of using pork gelatine coating for their vitamins, a common practice in many other feeds.
• They do not select ingredients that have been processed using harsh chemical solvents.
• Their non-GM soya is pressed - not harshly extracted with the solvent hexane.
• Only non-GM ingredients are used
• All feeds are drug-free, with no artificial or nature identical flavours or yolk pigmenters.
• All of the herbs used are the real thing

 

Smallholder Feeds

fed Allen and Page Cattle and Calf Mix and have won at Stoneleigh

SMALLHOLDER FEEDS are best suited to birds and livestock kept in free range or non-intensive conditions rather than those being reared for intensive or commercial production.

Poultry Feeds only include non GM, non solvent extracted SOYA, rather than any of the cheaper alternatives such as High Protein Soya or Brazilian Soya.

They only use virgin Pressed Soya & Linseed Oil. These oils provide a combination of Omega 3 and Omega 6 Oils, which ensure a healthier bird, and better egg. Similar oils are used by producers of ‘healthier egg’ which have been shown to lower cholesterol in humans.
All feeds are drug free with no artificial flavours or yolk pigmenters. Grass, non GM maize and real ground marigold give a rich yellow colour to the yolk, as opposed to cheaper ‘nature identical’ products or solvent extracted marigold.

OTHER BREEDS Allen & Page do feeds suitable for llamas/alpacas, ostriches/rheas, wallabies, deer, degus, quails, peacocks, guinea fowl, pigeons, pheasants and pet ducks.

Horse Feeds

These native Shetlands love Allen and Page Slim & Healthy, Quiet mix and Stud Mix
and win many UK shows.

This family-owned company has four generations of experience and only uses natural ingredients of the highest quality in their horse feeds, with no artificial or ‘nature identical‘ flavours. Their range covers Maintenance diets, Light work, Medium work, Hard work, Fast Work, Stud Horses, Weight Gain, Condition, Weight Control, and Feed Intolerances.

Feeds may include protexin assisting the balance of beneficial gut microflora, and prebiotics to support the growth of the beneficial micro-organisms throughout the gut.

Several of our customers have consistently won major shows whilst feeding Allen & Page Calm and Condition they recommend it for showing and dressage events.. It is a unique formula and the new Ride and Relax is a progression forward for horses in good condition but still require to be calm when given a feed with more energy (without barley).

HORSES WITH ALLERGIES DO WELL with the Sugar & Cereal Intolerance Diet and ‘L’mix for LAMINITICS. Fibre pencils have also been recommended for donkeys, native ponies and laminitics.
